Barrel Rolls/Victory Curls
I've been watching Cherry Doll Face's youtube tutorials but I'm still struggling! My hair is also long and thick. Any extra suggestions?

You have to start with dirty hair, gross, I know, but I can't do anything with my hair when its clean, I don't know much about what kind of hair you have but I have to tease the crap out of my hair with a fine tooth comb for it to stay in a victory roll and hairspray it before you tease and after, and I use like a hundred bobby pins! Hope this helps :-)

Spraying dry shampoo at the roots where you are about to tease has helped keep the tease from falling out too soon on me. Maybe this would help? And like Jennifer said, lots of bobbi pins! Use the jumbo size ones to really anchor your hair if you have a lot of hair because of the weight. Put them in in an X shape so that they really hold each side up.
