I usually braid mine but yours is too short for that. What if you try just curling it really tight, and then just letting it be when you go swimming?

Thank you for your reply! I suppose that if I go into the water it'll go straight again. Maybe I will just skip it or else I'll have to curl my hair everyday! :(

Actually, I think if you roll it to your head and pin it (a la a Gibson style, which is do-able with shorter hair, I promise cause I used to do it!), when you go to release the pins, it'll retain some of the curl (as long as you wait a few until it's almost dry to unpin it)... that way, you can finger style it on the beach, and it still has some curl in it. And I understand that the sea salt in the ocean is a great style "product." Have a great vacation!

For shoes, you could wear espadrilles (they come in different heel heights and styles. Espadrillesetc.com has some cute styles. They are are expensive, but there is a sales page on the on the site. They are located in Spain, though. You could also wear a sandal with a flat or small wedge heel and an ankle strap.

You are right, espadrilles is a good choice and are comfy to wear during the day as well. They have nice things but they are quite pricey for espadrilles. I'll try ebay or any local stores. Thank you for the suggestion Audrey! :)
