I guess I'm lucky in that I have fairly good skin - means I have an excuse for my inherent laziness. I rarely wear make up although I love it, and I hardly ever cleanse or moisturise or anything else except when I'm in the shower. I realise that as I get older I might have to start taking care of myself a bit more though, so do you ladies have any tips or tricks to looking amazing every day? What are your routines when it comes to getting ready to face the day?

My routine is trying to avoid as much as possible.
Soft baby cloth and some warm water.
Make up never makes me break out but soaps and removers do.
Even dove sensitive soaps make me get red blemishes.
After I'm all washed I use night time moisturizer but verrrrry tiny amounts or else I again will break out.
And seriously whats the deal with toner? Never could understand why/when you use that stuff!

A year later I come back to my post!

I could never see the point of toner either, I googled it up once and it's apparently another cleanser to get rid of the other cleanser that you originally used on your face... Which made no sense to me at all. I've recently had a break out of spots due to stress, this is the first time I've ever had this, and because I picked at them, they turned into a patch of psoriasis which is something I've suffered with my entire life, so now I'm just rubbing freederm on them twice a day and that seems to be clearing the whole thing up, it's annoying though, having a small red patch just underneath my glasses on my cheek. And of course I don't want to cover it with make up just in case I make it worse! Why can't we be made of something like plastic, something that doesn't get spots!

The oil cleansing method - http://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/

It sounds completely backwards on the surface, but it totally isn't, and now I wouldn't use anything else to cleanse with.  The only products I use on my face (well, my whole body) are cruelty free, so that means they don't have any nasty chemicals, dyes, fillers etc in them, and - as a happy by-product - they're also really great value for money.
