Love all the super cute vintage/pin up hairstyles out there and I've been trying out some new looks I've seen on youtube tutorials (really like Cherry Dollface's tutorials), however, after about 20 mins, my curls are already falling out.
I'm a rockabilly singer and sometimes do shows up to 4 hours long...I need hair that is going to stay! Any ideas on what products work best or what I could do differently?

Everyone's hair is different but for me a wet set with foam rollers works best. I put a hair net over the rollers so they stay in place plus the net holds in less moisture than a scarf would which is good because my hair takes forever to dry.
I recently started using lottabody but I'm not totally blown away.
If I don't like the way my hair looks once I wake up, sometimes I'll go over it with a curling iron and pin them in place till they cool and then mist with the aussie freeze spray (a VERY light mist. That stuff means business).
But I'd say a wet set is key because it changes the structure of your hair. Even if you go over it with heat products, it will make a big difference in the lasting power.
