In my opinion, Fremont Street ("Old" Las Vegas) is so much better than the new Strip - where all the big named casinos are. It's much more laidback, you get to see all of the old neon (which is beautiful, particularly the martini glass!), there's a tattoo parlor, and of course, the original casinos, which also have shows (I think one of them has a Jersey Boys show...). By all means, check out LasVegas.com - they can hook you up with figuring out your whole trip. There are also burlesque shows up and down the strip, but pay attention to their description. I went with my mom to Vegas my first time, and we were planning on attending X Burlesque. However, X is a completely topless down to almost full nudity, and talking to other people who saw it, more of a strip show than a true burlesque.

Whatever you do, have fun and be safe! My best friend was married in Las Vegas, and we just partied in her room. :)
