Makeup Palette's?
Hi ladies,
I'm looking for a blank magnetic makeup palette and so far the only real options under $30 that I've found are Zpalette and some on Etsy which are bigger than what I want which mostly leaves me with the Zpalette. I'm kind of worried about it as it seems to be made from 'pressed cardboard' which seems a little flimsy for the price. Does anyone have any reccomendations for a decent empty palette or any idea if the Zpalette is worth my money? I basically want a palette to hold about 4 shades of eyeshadow and one of blush so relatively small.
this is the zpalette I'm considering and since it's only $20 I'm considering buying it just to see if it's crappy or not but
I would LOVE some input first!

I get mine from here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/anothersoul which is probably the ones you've seen, but it would be worth asking if she would custom-make you a smaller palette. The ones I have are certainly very high quality, and while they are "just" cardboard (so are/were four of my Urban Decay palettes), they're not at all flimsy.

actually hers were the ones I saw. I really like her pink snakeprint and her leopard one but I'm also kind of leery of what the shipping cost will be from here to there + a special order!! But she has tons of great feedback and a lot of different colors so I was considering anyway :)

I ordered three, right after the hurricane at the end of last year - and she lives in New Jersey, which I totally didn't realise until after I'd placed the order. I didn't expect to have them too quickly - obviously, but they were here PDQ and having just checked my emails I paid $62.97, which today equates to £40.60 (and probably wasn't far off last year either lol), which I thought was reasonable (says she, who's just spent £16.80 on a half apron, also from Etsy!).

Mac quad pallets are only $8 and they are plastic and really durable. I've had mine for years, though I did drop it and broke the clear plastic cover a little bit. It holds 4 round eyeshadows, it doesn't fit a blush but those don't take up much space anyway ;).

those actually do look great but I unfortunately need the open one as I want it for my purse for storing everything I need all in one and that means blush too. I'm thinking about getting one of the Mac ones for home use though :)

I like the ZPallette, but I don't carry it around. I recommend an Aveda palette, it's recyclable aluminum with a magnetic plate inside. It's durable and functional.
