I recently bought an emerald green Ava as my party dress and it looks great on. But I never have any event to wear it to!

I'm at work now so dont have any pics but I found some lovely PUG party dresses of Etsy sellers.

Maybe you could look around and get some ideas!

For party , recently , I have shopped online c & m dresses, they are knee length and is in white colour . I love the fabric of dress, it is very cool and light .

I don't have a pic readily available, but my party dress is black stretch velvet ankle length with a thigh length slit up the side and a sweetheart bodice. Black silk roses aroun the bodice and wrist. It looks sleeveless except for a black mesh that forms the sleeves, from the bodice up and the back up. Looks daring and revealing, but very modest for those work parties. Pair it with a faux fur wrap, or a black silk wrap for cool evenings.

Oh my GOD I can't believe that I haven't seen this thread until now! Well my current favourite "Party Dress", as in the dress that I wear out to a party when and where I WANT to party is the Lana Dress, which I currently have in firework and in red as seen below.

When I picked one up at a PUG sale at Viva Las Vegas a couple of years ago and took it out to a swing dance that night my husband dubbed it the "check out my undies dress" because of the lift the skirt gets when you really spin in it ;). It's an absolutely adorable little sleeveless cocktail dress with an adorable silhouette and a a very vintage figure flattering design that would have been right at home on a Mad Men set. There are still some Lana's in black and in leopard I believe if you're interested in picking one up :)!

As for dresses that I'd like to have for a party and or an event, there's going to be a Pinup Picnic hosted by the Toronto Vintage Society in July and I'd absolutely love to pick up a Renee Dress in Navy Anchor Print by Pinup Couture. Does this dress not just SCREAM summertime picnic? I guess you could call this one the "Check out my tummy" dress ;).

My Ava dress in Jade Green SCREAMS "classy party girl" to me.  I also have a dress I got online from a website called eShakti that allows you to customize their dresses for very little $$.  Being a bigger gal and tall, it's hard to get stuff I like.
