I guess we are all shaped differently.  For me pug fits way better than bettie page.

I am getting ready to buy my first repro for a birthday luau in October (my bff's mom's bday, who is a major supporter of me being me, so I GOTTA be there in full PUG!). I went through the site last night (PUGC, CatsLikeUs, BettiePage) and I actually have an issue for all of them size-wise... I agree, I don't think I am way off in my body size/measurements (38c-d/34/42), but I don't know which to order - my hip size or bust size (I'm looking at the Polynesian dress in blues... sold out, but on the wait list ... so pretty & demure - perfect for a 60yr old's bday luau! hope it's in stock by October!). I finally decided that I'm going to have to go in and try-on (which I realize is a luxury a lot of girls don't have as they don't live in the area). I'm also pretty sure that I will have to do alterations - I'm short as well, so most of the time I have to get things hemmed. I can give you a heads up when I go in, if that will help. =) Not sure when I'll be going - I'm waiting for a weekend day when the train tickets are only $10 for unlimited use (I have to take 2 metrolink trains to get there), which may not be for a couple more weeks (and hopefully my dress will be in stock then!). I also will be trying on the DD & LBBL cig pants so I can get a gauge of the size (because I am looking at these for work since we are no longer allowed to wear leggings (but we can wear jeggings because they have a button... sorry, different rant).

Any feedback would be great.  My measurements are really similar to yours! 42-33-42,  maybe check out my pics to see if any of that stuff interests you because it may fit u similarly!

That would be great. I do know my sizes in cm. Breast 80 about 35.5 inch? Waist 75 cm about 29.5 inch and hips 101cm about 40 inch

Hi Jenn

I usually worry about my hips, tummy and bottom so I shop more so for my hips than my bust (i am a 32 DDD) because in my mind a bit of boob is ok but a bit of tummy and love handle ...not so ok..

Have you looked at the Mai Tai shift dress? Its a cute little number that covers up but is gorgeous. The material will stretch to accommodate your waist :) 

The Ginger is totally cute and the straps are halter which means you can adjust them

The Netti is another fav, because the straps can be adjusted to fit bust size :)

When you go onto the site you can search as per your body type as well.

I am lucky my measurements are 39, 28, 40 so pretty much everything fits me (except the Ginger for some reason)

For me I can't buy Bettie Page clothes online.
I have to try them on and 90% of the time they do NOT fit right.
Every P.U.G item I have bought thus far (knock on wood) has fit perfecto!
I also have amazing luck with collectif, such a good fun brand

Haha Della, Collectif doesnt fit me at all. Always have to tailor that. We do come in all kind and all shapes. If not the world would be a boring place. I'm lucky with and Retrolicious and Linda Bop as the less expensive brands. Does anyone know the sizing of Limb? I really fancy there Hawain dresses

Hi i own the l'amour dress in black and victorian, the erika, the evelyn, the jessica, the aimee, the nathalie, the militairy ( this one is perfect) the troublemaket, day of the death, etc. Collectif clothing give me the same problem. My waist and hips are 10" difference.
I would love to buy a Stop staring dress any advice?

Thanks Jessica,i have the same issues with the l ' amour and troublemaker. I saw your blog about te shapewear, i going to give rago a hit. Normally i wear Maidenform or what katie did. I also saw that PUg will send free interational above 300 dollar. I didnt know that. To ship and return it fromthe Netherlands is a lot of money.
Bernie Dexter for summerdresses are so cool and often i have a M size
