Slips! To wear under your retro threads...
As I've acquired more retro-style clothing, I've realized some of my dresses and skirts could really benefit from a slip. So, where do you all purchase your slips? Where are the best deals? Going around to my local department stores, variety is sparse. I understand that this is probably because slips are out of fashion, though. Also, how does slip sizing work? It would be great if someone who knows could explain that. I was just trying a bunch on until one seemed right. So slip into a discussion about slips, and feel free to mention more unmentionables of the past!

honestly my slips came from my mom and grandma.
I stole them years ago when I played dress up as a kid.

Instead of using a "slip" I'll wear a chemise and usually find them @ Ross & Marshalls. Also if you have a burlington coat factory near you, they have cheap undergarments too. I like to wear pattern chemises with a solid dress and let the pattern/lace peak thru a bit. It really works, Good Luck :)
