standing out in pinup contests

Hi! I have competed in three contests thus far and have won first place in one. I try to let personality shine on stage but sometimes that isnt enough. I noticed the girls who won the other two stand out to me because of their hair. One is bright red and one is a deeper red with a blonde stripe. I am not dying my hair but I am in need of suggestions on how I can stand out seeing as both of them will be in the next competition. I love being on stage and these contests mean alot to me. I have alot of fun and no it isnt all about winning but it helps when you are trying to make a name for yourself in the pinup modeling world! Thanks for any suggestions!

Oh pin up contest, that sounds like fun! Though hair colors can be memorable, what you DO on stage and your overall persona is what should stick in the judges and audiences mind. What is your pin up persona? Giggly girl next door? Tough and sassy? Sleek, glamours and sexy? Figure out what defines you and stick to it. When you are modeling or competing on stage you are acting, be in character and stick to it. Let your mannerisms,outfit, and props reflect this persona.

Thanks so much for commenting :) ! I try to make sure I give a lot of personality on stage even when the nerves kick in! You should definitely try to find one to compete in! You make so many new friends who are interested in the same thing as you!
