So you need a dress for an October wedding? Hmmm.... if your a fan of wiggle dresses then I'd suggest the Monica Dress in Red, the Jessica Dress in Rust Solid Bengaline, the Bridgette Dress in either Purple or Teal or any of the Erin's, Vivien's or Ava's at all.

If you want something that's open at the hips then maybe one of the Heidi's (in a solid colour for a wedding I think), the Courtesan Swing Dress in black and white, or maybe the Grace Dress in either red or blue.

So there's a few since I don't really know what your preferred dress style is :) If I had to choose one of these as my favourite to wear to a wedding, I'd go with the Heidi in either red or blue. Best of luck with which ever dress you go with and have an amazing time at your friends wedding!

LOL see that's my problem I love both the wiggle dresses and the open at the hips dresses :)

LOL I love them both too, I totally see your dilemma ;)

My only suggestion then might be that if you know if there's going to be a wedding theme that might suit one style over the other? Or if your friends like a kind of music that they're probably going to play at the reception that better suits wiggle or open hip?

A lot of hip-hop might suit a wiggle dress, 80's pop and classic rock that you can twirl too might work better with an open hip.

i guess it would depend on the style of the event...is it a casual, day time wedding or an evening black tie affair? Its october so I like the idea of fall colors (the rusts or burgandy)  i just got the Jessica and I love it, the rust color is super pretty (full disclosure i got the purple one, but tried on the rust one before purchase) i would say it is more suited to evening as it is very sexy. The Avas would be awesome for evening too, since they are shiny. For day time, an erin, a Heidi, or even a Birdie (the 3/4 sleeve would add some warmth too). 

The problem is there are too many great choices! Good luck and have fun!

Too many great choices is def. the problem! I don't know much details of their wedding yet but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a lot of country music at the reception lol. Oh decisions decisions..I've narrowed it down to a Jessica, Erin, Heidi or a Birdie so many colors to choose from oh my lol
