to blog or not to blog... please answer the question!! :)

Hi out there -

I've noticed that a couple of people have questions on how to incorporate the PUG look with modern retail stuff. I currently work at Sears, so I shop there (as well as KMart, as I also get my discount there!) a lot, as well as know our stock pretty well. Since it's in a mall, I get out and see what a lot of other retailers are offering as well. Would a blog (with pics!) showing modern day sells with a vintage-inspired look help anyone out there? I am thinking I could not only include what I find at work, but also what I find in other retailers (especially those who do online as well, for our out of US PUGers!). Please let me know what you think... If it's a definite yes from ya'll, I'll double check my work's social media policy to clear it with them (I don't see a downside for them!) and then get started... although, if any of you currently have blogs, some advice on how to get started would be awesome as well!

Thanks for letting me know! Jenn :)

Yes! Yes!! PLEEEASE do! I Am having trouble trying to maintain my pin up style with out breaking the bank. Since I can only seem to find anything good online. In store insight would b just dandy! As my recent trips to the mall have left me very disappointed and frustrated with the lazy, ripped, ill fitting or peep show short items that are trying to b passed off as fashionable clothing. And Yet are unfortunately becoming the norm! So yes please Helllppp!! :)

YES!! Please! That would be most awesome. I like to incorporate lower priced items that I don't have to be concerned with their wear and tear with my other more beloved PUG items. This would be so fun and informative!

does anyone know if i would be able to use this website for my blog? i see the blog/myblogs up in the header of my page... and i clicked on it, so it let me know i could write in and post on it... anyone have any suggestions? i want to be able to upload pics too...

i think that would help people, i've seen a lot of complaints about girls not being able to find anything in mass retail stores.  I was just talking with my sister in law the other day about this :) due to the popularity of Mad Men, designers have been putting out a lot of retro inspired clothes, which is great for the pinup style.  i have seen tons of pencil skirts in stores (I just got a couple really cute ones at JC Penny's for $12 each) and the peter pan collar is treandy right now, I have seen a lot of longer hemlines and more classy articles of clothing that in the past (yay).  A few years ago, I was looking for a black pencil skirt for work and it literally took me two days of shopping and two entire malls, plus a few other stores before I found one! So i'm glad that the style is popular right now :) good luck with your blog, make sure to put a link up

Yes please!

I think that is a wonderful idea.  Blog away.
