Vivien of Holloway - sizing

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with VoH garments.

I have been checking out the VoH site for a long time and finally put in an order recently. I had even asked VoH about the sizing to be sure, and was advised to go for the smaller size, so I was pretty sure they would fit. I'm 34-27-37.5, and therefore chose their sizes B34/W26 for the dress (Peggy Lee) and W26/H38 for the pencil skirt.

I was really excited when the packet arrived today, only to find out they were both way too big everywhere, even at the waist were I'd expected them to be a little tight. At least one size. :( (Stupid me have of course managed to put in another order for the pinafore skirt and the Runaround Sue while I've been waiting, so I guess I can expect the same for them, and will have to return everything).

Needless to say, I'm quite disappointed. But, since they have some really lovely things, I'd really like to find the right sizing.

So, if you have any garments from VoH, what is your experience? What skirt/dress/other do you have, and how were they w.r.t. size?
