I've washed my L'amour, Deedee, and Heidi dresses, but always on gentle cycle with like colors and cold water. 
Only a bit of fading on the darker dresses. Just be careful.

I just realized that some of the dresses are dry clean only and this is something that I never paid attention to! I have washed all my PUG (heidi dresses, doris skirts, vamp, etc.) and have not noticed any issues at all. However, I always wash all my clothes in cold water and then hang to dry.  I think that most items that are dry clean only can be washed, so long as it's in cold water or hand wash.

Usually that does work well; I like to use the appropriate Woolite to help keep the colors strong (they make one for blacks to prevent fading).

Dry clean, dry clean, dry clean. I get several wears out of my dresses but ain't no way I would wash them.(I don't wear my PUG everyday)  Way too much work for my arthritic hands. But even if I had good hands, I would still dry clean.

I either dry clean my pin up clothes or use an in home thing called Dryel where I put a moist sheet that comes in the kit with a zippered bag that goes in the dryer for about a half hour. You can also buy refills on the moist sheets.

Thanks ladies! I treated the stains and machine washed on delicate using woolite in the machine and hung to dry, and the dress seems fine! Cheers! Hope this thread helps others!
