I don't know how to start this discussion honestly. I'm always curious when I look through all your photos and read your bios. No one really talks about what they do for a living. I guess I wonder this because I work such an obscure job that I always imagine all the PUG enthusiasts are well known celebrities, or powerful business women because you are all so beautiful.

I work in the offshore oilfield, 6 months a year I'm offshore on a barge or a boat and usually there aren't many girls. I wear steel toe boots, a hardhat, and pants. I never wear makeup and my hair is always in a ponytail. The other 6 months out of my year, I'm usually in a dress with full makeup and my hair done.

So I guess what I'm asking is what do you guys do for a living?

Hi Ann, Likewise!
I used to work for a small Dutch publishers: Playlogic. They went bust in 2010, but they are back in business again.

Yes, I will be going to Gamescom. I am working on a booth there. Will you be there as well?

I've heard of PlayLogic! Good to hear that they are back in business again.

Oh I wish I was going to Gamescom! In my role I have very little reason to travel, so I'm always envious of my coworkers who are able to go :).

Have a fabulous time there!

I work in the video game industry too! guess there are a couple of us. I'm on the art team for a major MMORPG

I work at Safeway in the Deli!
It is good because I can pretend to play housewife all day.
Cooking and cleaning and taking care of brats.
Going out for work parties is always a kick.
Everyone I work with thinks I'm crazy for dressing up in the ways we all do.

I am an alcoholic and drug counselor, I work at a DUI program for drunk drivers. and i do photography on the side with my daughters.

Hello lovelies,

I'm a newly certified Pastry Chef, although I've been in the foodie world for years. We've recently located to the Fort Campbell area, near Nashville, TN, and I'm currently looking for a position here. I'm needing to unleash some sugar-laden goodies on innocent bystanders... ;) Love PUG and love this community! Holly

I'm a primary school teacher who specialises in teaching natural Maths to kiddies. I switched to teaching from the corporate world where I was a projects & contracts manager for projects over 20 million. I switched to make myself happy (obviously not for the money). I am a cancer survivor, a cycling and running enthusiast, I travell a lot and really am just trying to change the world 30 kids at a time :)
I made my money working corporate now I'm giving something back!

Im a stay at home mommy... although I have an AA in child development, plan on going back to teaching as soon as my son starts school ;)

Hello Lovely Ladies~

What I do for a living??? Well I own a Holistic Wellness Spa in Baltimore, MD. I am a massage therapist (although not currently practicing due to a back injury), holistic esthetician, clinical nutritionist and holistic health coach. I've been in the beauty industry for about 18 years now. Before that I was in marketing and public relations and when I was younger I modeled a little bit.

I've been lucky throughout my careers that I've always been able to incorporate my PUG style. It;s never had to be repressed, so it's an everyday look for me.

It's so interesting to see what everyone does and once again I'm glad to have this community to see just how varied we all are! I love it!

Hey Christine, what Spa do own? I live in the Harford Couny area and would love some holistic nutritional counseling!
hi there i'm a headmaster of a highschool. I always wear dresses and have peroxide hair. I dont think THE kids mindy at all the way I dress. Only one boy told me I always dress so old school.

That's awesome.  I have a Masters in Educational Administration and hope to one day be a Assistant Principal, Principal, and maybe open my own school someday.  One focused on fine arts and International Baccalaureate principles.  Thanks for sharing!
