I don't know how to start this discussion honestly. I'm always curious when I look through all your photos and read your bios. No one really talks about what they do for a living. I guess I wonder this because I work such an obscure job that I always imagine all the PUG enthusiasts are well known celebrities, or powerful business women because you are all so beautiful.

I work in the offshore oilfield, 6 months a year I'm offshore on a barge or a boat and usually there aren't many girls. I wear steel toe boots, a hardhat, and pants. I never wear makeup and my hair is always in a ponytail. The other 6 months out of my year, I'm usually in a dress with full makeup and my hair done.

So I guess what I'm asking is what do you guys do for a living?

to the OP Christine - I'm sure someone has already said this somewhere in this thread, but you should do a "We Can Do It" style photo in your work gear :-)

I am relatively new to pinup but I'm really getting into it.  I'm a social media manager for a social gaming startup and my gorgeous lady wife (who is not as into pinup as I am but indulges me by wearing all the Matching Dresses) is a biologist by day and feminist writer & spoken word performer by night!  I'm really enjoying reading what you all do.  I don't usually dress up for work but I do dress in PUG clothes for work parties and our "Formal Fridays" (so called since we wear jeans all the rest of the time).

I work at a resort as the front desk person for the motel part. Sometimes it's fun. I can meet the neatest people and some I hope to never see again lol. Other than that I go to school (college).

That's really neat what you do! I hardly hear of many women doing that type of job.

My full time "job" is school. I am a premed student majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry and French. My intention is to go to med school and then do the 5-7 years of residency and fellowship to become a forensic pathologist. I do have a part time job working at a dressage barn, but my intent is to switch out of that (it is really too time and energy consuming) and start working in a research lab or hospital soon.

Hello ladies!!

I have just recently found this page!!  I have been looking trough it for a few days and looking at the pics!!  Everyone looks fabulous!!  I have just purchased my first PUG dresses!!  I can not wait to get them!!...  I work as a dairy farmer and spend most of my days in overalls and steel toe boots!!  I do not get many dress up days!!....... (  But I have always loved dresses and shoes!!)....  It's really fun to read what everyone does for a living!!  I'm happy I found this site!!

I am a full time stay at home mom & wife,I have 2 girls ages 6 & 10.I also do a little bit of pinup modeling when I can,I am also a beginning photographer.

Well, I'm a college student full-time and I work part-time at Panera!
Not much opportunity for makeup or fancy hairdos when you're carting coffee back and forth.

I'm a Nursing Assistant who works at a home for developmentally disabled adults. I also do modelling but not for a living.

I love my job but its limitations on our clothing are a bummer. I do occasionally do my hair and makeup pinup style and don the cherry print scrubs I made.

im a single mom to a super great 2 year old boy and I work retail as I go to school, where im almost done with my associate degree in science then im transferring to Fresno State to get my Bachelor's in Social Work and then gonna work on my Masters. ...And im doing a internship at WestCare, its a Alcohol and Drug outpatient program, my field of study, im studying to become a Alcohol and Drug counselor.Yep, I stay busy!!!!!

I'm a stay at home mom of 4. : ) My husband is a Drill Sgt in the Army and works 18-20 hrs days 7 days a week so me working would be more of a hassle than it's worth with him gone all the time! I also go to school for Certified Vet Tech and homeschool all the kids. : )

I hope you meant "working OUTSIDE of the home would be more of a hassle..." - girl, you DO work, A LOT from what it sounds like. 4 kids is A LOT of work!!

Bulldog Pride!! Graduated Fresno State in 2001 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in English Lit. =)

I'm Flight Attendant, and though I wear a uniform to work, I still style my hair and wear my make-up to reflect my love of the pin-up style.
