Hey Everyone!
I just discovered this site today and I'm so excited I found it (I'm behind, I know).
I was just curious if anyone here has purchased the Baby Corset: http://www.whatkatiedid.com/en_us/product/543/under_bust_corset?fes...
I have WKD's Morticia underbust and I LOVE it. My obsession with the Dior New Look is what inspired me to buy my first corset in the first place. So now I'm considering buying the Baby Corset.
I'd love to know what you guys think/know!
Thanks!

I love my morticia! Maybe you should look into getting a custom one made? I hear they're supposed to be the most comfortable. I had only had really cheap ebay corsets prior to buying the morticia, and there was world of difference!
I haven't tried the Baby, I personally don't like how short it is. I want my corset to control the love handles too :) Also, I don't know if this is just how it fits the model, but in the pictures it has a weird lip at the top where it comes away from the model's rib cage. If that was the way it fit I could see it causing horrible lumps under clothing. If you aren't worried about that and you want a true waist cincher, I have heard that the Baby is amazing. these are just my observations, I don't own it so I can't comment for fit. I haven't heard any bad reviews though.
I love the morticia, I have been coveting it for probably 2 years now. I recently started waist training, so I have one made for that. I too am in love with the "New Look". I will probably splurge for the Morticia after I get a couple inches smaller.
I think they have a sale in January. I wanted the velvet Morticia but they didn't have my size on sale! I'm obsessed with it. I don't even know you, but I can tell you that your life isn't complete until you buy it :D
Hey ladies,
The "funny gap" at the top and bottom of any steel boned corset is normal, and will (usually) go away once you have seasoned your corset. This means that you wear it for a couple hours a day, gradually closing the gap, until your body and the corset have formed to one another. If you try to lace them tight as soon as you get them, you will damage the boning and potentially hurt yourself!
If you are interested in a proper steel boned corset, I would highly suggest checking out the Orchard Corset page/blog, or there are some fantastic videos on YouTube (check out http://www.youtube.com/user/bishonenrancher). There is tons of great information about "seasoning" your corset, and about what size and silhouettes will work for your body, and also about the benefits of corseting and waist training.
I have only recently begun my waist training journey - and these resources have been awesome!
