What kind of hot rollers do you use?

I have seen lots of posts about people lamenting on not being able to curl their hair for the perfect pin up do's. And I can't say I have that issue. I have been lucky enough to be blessed with hair that is naturally REALLY curly, dry and holds pretty much anything I want it to do. That being said, I would really like to try some hot rollers for me hair to get that smoothed out look with the nice curls on the bottom. My hair being so curly I normally have to straighten the top of my hair and use a curling iron on the bottom. Way too much time. 

So what kinds of hot rollers do you hot ladies use and what width roller do you suggest? Do you have a specific technique? How many rollers do you normally keep in your hair? do you let them stay for the entire night, or just a few hours?

Thanks for the info, I was actually looking at that set earlier! :) one of my coworkers has a set of rollers that she has only used once or twice, they are a lower end set, but she is going to let me borrow them for the weekend and see what I can do with them.
