Hey guys! I hope that you're all having a great Holiday Season so far :)

I had an idea for a little game that I want to play with you all right now. I got the idea when a friend of mine showed me an old Christmas TV special where a celebrity had her friends come by her house/TV studio all dressed up in their best outfits to sing and dance and eat together.

So I was wondering, if you could throw a dream retro/vintage glamorous Pinup Girl Christmas party of your own...

A) Who would you invite (they could be celebrities, family members you love and cherish, friends you known for years or friends you've met here)

B) What would you wear (I mean that perfect outfit that you'd absolutely LOVE to wear to a party over the holidays, whether you own it now or you're hoping that Santa will bring it to you this year because you've been such a good girl for him :)

C) What would you guys get up to once you have your outfit picked and everyone's arrived? Play games? Sing? Dance?

My husband and I had such an awesome time talking about this on our way home from a friend's Christmas party that we actually talked about trying to through our own vintage Christmas party next year.

So feel free to let me know what you're perfect pinup Christmas/Holiday Party would look like and I hope you all have a Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year :)

oh my this sounds like so much fun!

I'd invite all of my friends, and all of my PUG friends <3, and I guess a few of my co-workers. I'd be shy of inviting celebrities because well... I'm just not rich enough to be able to buy them presents.... my family mostly dislikes glam so they're for the pre-christmas party

outfit.... (ohgodohgodohgod ha)

uhm

Shoes without a doubt my sammie redbottoms - pair of black tights, my pearls, aaannndddd....... I can't decide between my Jessica Dress from PUG which i have or the Bridgette dress from PUG which I've been trying to get but maybe Santa could bring me. I guess the Jessica since I've already got it ^_^ - have to buy more makeup for it though since i'm offially out of a bunch of stuff.

party = cocktails, beer, food, dancing, boyfriend playing guitar, and karaoke,

funnily enough my actual Christmas party is being hosted by the boyfriend's super casual family this year and I've been told that a sweater with reindeer on it would be an ideal outfit *sigh* - next year it's my turn

I really like the sound of that party Shy Anne, thank you so much for answering :)

I share your *sigh* about the "reindeer sweater" dresscode party too, I'm sure you're party next year will absolutely rock!

I've settled on wearing one of my wiggle dresses with a baggy sweater on-top and some thick tights with heels - I'm still thinking Jessica since that's the loosest one I have. I was hoping to get New Years but Robin doesn't want to have a party so next year it is :D I'm kind of curious about your party though...

I think your combination wiggle dress with the sweater's an awesome compromise, I'll tell you all about my party this morning :)

Oh Brandi you know I absolutely love you in the Tie Me Up dress, that would perfect for any PUG party! Especially with a pair of back seemed stockings and Mary Jane heels, you and the cleavage it shows ARE absolutely amaze-balls sexy ;)

The story telling and gift exchange would be so much fun too, and I think I could stuff myself like crazy on Christmas themed cakes.

I can't wait until I can go to this party :)

Ohhhh this sounds awesome.

Who would I invite?
Everyone who's a good time. My parents, my crazy Aunt's and Uncles, my Grandparents who would adore the theme and of course old and much loved friends. As well as every single and attractive man from here to tim-buck two, celebrity or not. I think I'd feel too pressured having celebrity's there. Plus my family would scare them off. Oh and you'd all get an invite of course.

What would you wear?
As I'm planning on wearing the Ava dress in Purple this Christmas I guess Im going to opt for that!

What would you guys do?
I have an image of these being held in a big ballroom, or on a boat. Everywhere would be decorated with traditional decorations and there would be piles of good old Traditional British Food. (My mum's a chef, there's always too much food). I'd have a live band and we'd all dance and catch up with each other. Sharing cards and gifts and especially hugs for those we haven't seen in a while. The only games we really play are board games, my family aren't big on group activities.

I could so see having an awesome PUG party on a boat Jessica! I love board games too, that would all be so much fun and I would absolutely love to go to this party!

The only thing is that I can't promise that I won't go jumping into the water for a swim after midnight ;)

Okay so since I started this thread I guess I should share my idea for a Christmas party PUG style :)

The theme would be 1940's homefront Christmas! My husband and I would rent out the basement of a nightclub and dress it up like a 1940's dance hall, complete with bartenders in red jackets and bowties and cigarette girls (only instead of selling cigarettes they'd be selling sweets and treats ;)

To greet all of you awesome people as you arrive I'd be wearing the Monica Dress in Champagne and Silver Lurex Knit and the matching Bombshell Heel with Bow in Champagne Satin, and I'd have a cigarette holder that had a candy cigarette on the end (I don't smoke in case you can't tell :) ).

We'd have a jazz/swing band with a husband and wife vocalist team set up on the main stage starting the night off with jazzy Christmas tunes as all my friends from the website here arrive with as many of the PUG models and staff that can make it, including hopefully Supreme Overlord Laura herself :)

After a little bit the band would clear off and a vaudeville comedy due would do a couple of sets, followed by a troupe of very sexy female AND male burlesque performers to really entertain the crowd.

Then the band would take the stage again with some swing dancing tunes to get everyone out on the dance floor for the rest of the night! I'd get changed into the Lana Dress in Red paired with the Deadly Dames Wide Vinyl Belt in White and the Super Cute Knee Length Petticoat in White. My husband already calls that dress the "check out my undies dress" so think it's perfect for swing dancing the rest of the night way in :)

After that we wouldn't stop dancing until the sun came up :)

Oh man, wouldn't it be awesome if I could throw this party one day? If I do you're all so invited!!!

when you do throw it, I so hope I'm invited!!

Don't worry you're definitely on the VIP list Shy Anne :)

Absolutely Brandi, there's a few moves that Chris and I want to learn where you can swing dance with a third person at the same time, we could totally make you our third person on the dance floor :)

Oh Brandi, this is why I love you :)
