I just joined the group and wanted to say this is amazing! I am a seamstress and make a lot of my own vintage clothing. I have been a seamstress for nearly 20 years, and I have done everything from costumes to corsets to everyday wear. I have a question for you gals. I thought of offering my pattern alteration services and pattern grading services. There are tons of vintage patterns out in the world but its hard to find a pattern in my size most patterns seem to be below a pattern size 20 (38-40"bust) and if you find them bigger they tend to have a heftier price tag for some reason. If I were to be able to offer my services to enlarge the pattern and adjust it to your measurements so there was little to no altering. Would someone pay for that or am I just wasting my time thinking about it! :) Also I was thinking of charging 40-60 bucks for these custom patterns, I just don't know. Any comments whether good or bad will be appreciated. And if I'm posting this question in the wrong place let me know!
