Long Beach Roller Derby

Hello lovelies!

If any of you ladies are interested in roller derby, now is the time to learn! The Long Beach Roller Derby Gals are starting a new league and looking for recruits for all aspects of the team (refs, skaters, volunteers, etc.). Practices are Wed. - Fri. 7PM - 10PM at the dome at the Queen Mary.

Believe me, I am a complete beginner and have no idea what to expect, but I will be there for practices. The team will train you how to do it all, so need to worry. The first practice is tonight (Feb. 14th), they will be recruiting every week. Can't come this week? No worries, come next week!

OMG what's the next meet up date. Ive always been interested in doing roller Derby!

Hi Joanna! Come on and join me! You can join in pretty much anytime for now. They are actively recruiting. I am "fresh meat", which means I am totally new to this. I can barely stand up on skates. Anyhow, you will need knee pads, mouth guard, wrist guards, helmet, elbow pads, and your skates. You will need proof of insurance before you can skate. It's so much fun!

..$5 Drop in fees per practice. $10 per week (3 practices). Please be advised; only skaters who are current on dues $40 maintain 70% attendance, & pass the skills requirements will be eligible to make a team. Cash or check is fine either way - you will receive a confirmation email within 24 of your payment.

Practices are W-F 7PM - 10PM at the Dome by the Queen Mary. I attached the paperwork for ya. If you do decide to come out, let me know. You can come tomorrow!
