I haven't ventured to the St. Paul side of the world to shop vintage yet but in Minneapolis I love Via's Vintage, Blacklist Vintage, B-Squad Vintage, and JoJo's Retro and Vintage. Oh, and we have something called the Mall of America - hello Bettie Page store!

I'm from Saint Paul which, like Minneapolis, has some great vintage spots: Lula, Go, UpSix, and Succotash - three of which are on the same corner - it's a dangerous place for a retro-lovin' lady to bring her wallet ;) We also have Heimie's Haberdashery and Barbershop, so a lot of our local gents rock the classy, retro-inspired style too. It's a pretty swell place to live!

Also still looking for a vintage hair dryer, thoughts. The thrift stores haven't had any and they seem to be so pricey online.

We don't have much here in the way of high quality, fashionable clothing for the modern pinup gal, but I make do with what I can find. Make sure you head to Deadwood late August for Kool Deadwood Nites - a 50's themed car show and outdoor concert with fun rockabilly bands. I'll be there driving my hearse in the parade!
