So Im always worried about figure hugging tops, especially halter ones. Being bigger in the "twins". I have always felt lumpy and bumpy in halters. However when i saw the holly in Black Gingham (at under $40) I thought what the heck. I thought "HOLY HOLLY" to Sum up:
The Good:
- Lots of material to elegantly cover the ladies
- The bow tie can be tied under the breast line (hiding any sign of slight tummy) or behind - adding a nice sexy line to the back
- The ties for the halter neck are lovely and long, enabling an elegant bow at the back and *some* added support for the twins
- The fabric is lightweight and perfect for summer
- Gingham, hides bumps well (for me)
The Not so Good:
Its going to stick to your curves, dont expect this lovely number to sit idly by and let your curves go unnoticed! This means, no chowing down on big meals or that tummy might show a tad, theres only so much that sash is going to hide!
Overall Verdict:
-This is the perfect top to take your daggiest jeans outfit (as modelled by me) from drag to DANG!
- Its ultra comfortable, the ties are thick and dont dig into your skin
-Perfect for coffee with friends and those hot summer evenings
- Perfect for accentuating your *assets*
In my book this top is a MUST have for summer.
PS. Sorry for the sideways pics, I cant figure out how to rotate them!
