So I finally found Manillusion, the shop in Oslo (Norway) that I knew had vintage style dresses. It was no more than half an hour before closing time, and I was just about desperate!
I wiggled my way into one dress tighter than the other, all confused about the unfamiliar size charts on many of them. Then I found my zebra!
Never in my life have I met a hip-hugging garment that I've loved so much! It was flattering and tight...and it was the only one left. The cup seams that should outline the bust weren't meant for a 34DD, and I got the weirdest pointy breast shape ever, but this M-sized baby was still going home with me!
To my pleasant surprise I discovered that the dress was from the lovely Micheline Pitt's own collection, Deadly Dames. I must admit I felt more than just a little bit proud about my hasty purchase where I broke one of my own rules, 'If it doesn't fit 100%, leave it!!' The fabric is curve-friendly and very comfortable to wear anyway.
The Vamp dress, despite my doubts due to the super tight fit, has been a great success in every way, and I have two more Vamp dresses on their way from PUG to the Norwegian countryside. Can't wait!

this dress looks fab on you. They are great whether fitted or looser. I prefer mine loose and have it in the tiger print. Be sure to post more pics of the other Vamps. I am getting a black one and am wondering abt the differences btwn colours etc. My bust line doesnt fit in the dresses either but I dont think that its a hindrance to wearing it either.
