Growing up, I played dress-up with my grandma's costume jewelry. Upon her passing, I got the purse filled with that jewelry. There were several pairs of rounds. But the round is no longer attached to the back. I really want to fix and wear them. They mean alot to me because my grandma passed of alzheimer's and this costume jewelry is pretty much the only thing I have left of her. So as you can see from this picture, this the type of backing I'm working with. Any ideas on how to repair? What kind of glue would hold but won't damage the round?

i usually use a brand called Duco and then their cement. you actually do want more of a cement then a glue because the former might damage the stones. However you also have to try to clean off the old glue if it is still there as it will weaken the new glue.
