Stretching Shoes
I just bought a super cute pair of shoes. They're Aerosole A2 rose plush in black (click here). Super comfy but 1 problem- the toe strap is too tight. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make it bigger? I tried the magic genie/shoe genie (?)- You're supposed to spray the liquid on them and then use the things to stretch it out. Then I googled. Some forums suggested a "heat method" where you put a blow dryer to them then pull. I did that. It seems to have stretched a teeny bit, but not much at all. So... i'm sitting here wondering, has anyone altered a pair of shoes. I'm thinking about cutting the toe band, sew on a little piece of elastic and then fancy up the part i cut with a rhinestone. What do you guys think?

have you looked for an extender? Most work by attaching to the hooks or velcro already on the shoe sort of like a bra strap extender so the biggest challenge is finding one in the same color. If it is a buckle, you can always remove the buckle and replace it with a couple of clasps to make life easier :)
