Violet Alteration Help?

Hello, ladies. I recently purchased the Violet dress in turquoise skull print by Collectif in a size 16, based on the fact that it has no stretch. Sadly, it is too large for me. It's not unwearable, but it really doesn't do my figure justice. I could not exchange it because the company was out of stock in other sizes. So now I am faced with either altering it or selling/swapping it. Do you think this dress would be alterable, based on the thin, slinky material? I don't have a good alteration place to look at it yet, but I won't even bother looking for one if it is likely that trying to alter it would ruin the dress.

Also, I may look into trading this dress, so if someone happens to have it in a 14 or 12 and could post the measurements, that would be amazing!
