Hello everyone!

I absolutely love the cat eye make up, but so far I've only see it on people who have dark brown eyes or very dark blue/green. That's just my experience though.

I have light blue eyes and I've tried the cat eye make up several times. At first I loved it, but my family and some friends told me they think it doesn't look that nice on me BECAUSE of my blue eyes. The contrast of the black eyeliner above my eyelid and my blue eyes would be too..harsh I guess. So right now I don't really dare to put it on anymore.

Maybe I'm just overdoing it or maybe they're wrong. :p
I'm wondering if there are any people here who could give me any advice on doing the typical cat-eye look for lighter eyes.

I wish you could post a picture to see what you mean. But honestly, sometimes I go over board with my makeup and when my sister (my best/worst critic) tells me she doesnt like it, I just shrug and go about my business. If you like how it looks rock it. =0)

I try to rock it, but it's pretty easy to doubt yourself when some friends tell you it's just "too much".
Same goes with my PUG clothing actually..comments like "wow that's a deep top" or "wow that's..well.. different".

I'll try to upload a picture of my eye make up later, so you can judge haha. :p

I do it alot and mine are very light blue/grey. I have a liner by Bourjois called Glitter Fizz. Its black with very soft glitter which takes the harsh edge off it, makes it a little softer, applys lovely and is cheap! They stopped making it for some bizzare reason but you can thankfully still buy it on eBay.

Wow Leanna I love the way you've done your make up, and it does look amazing. And I'll definately check that make up out! I'm currently using the liquid black eyeliner of collistar, or when i'm feeling like it, the dark blue one. :)

Oh, thats good to know. I'm gonna have to get one for my kit. =0)

I say go for bold !

I think it makes light eyes pop and a mesmerizing, sexy gaze....

I looove bold colors like purple or pink too !

Classic pin up makeup with vintage hair ! always a winner...

And of course a deep black smokey eye look when you want to spice things up for a night (and pretend you're a supermodel hahahahahaha ) !

I think the possibilities for blue/green eyes are endless ! The sky is the limit dear :)))

I agree with Viola that the possibilities are endless, just do what you love :) here are some cat eyes tips you might like: http://www.socialbliss.com/daniellanoel-brodsky/beauty-GMYTGNRX/-GE... have fun! <3

Thanks Irina!

Wow, you're rocking each look! Thanks for the advice! :)

What I do for something softer, when I’m not feeling the all out cat eye look is start the line from the middle of your eye out, so it’s not as harsh, I do this a lot as I like the effect it has with my eyes as I have light blue eyes. ex:

Or if you do want to do the full cateye look, do a light line, it doesnt have to be thick to make a statement. ex:

I Love blue eyes with cat eye liner, don't mind what they say and rock it! If you want a softer look you could try a brown but I'm sure the black looks great and intense against the blue.

What about instead of using a black liner, try using a brown liner. Marylin Monroe actually never used black liner she used white and a dark brown and it worked for her. I love love love cat eyes on females with light eyes I think it's simply stunning! Go with what you think Is pretty not what others think.

So the first picture is natural brows. The second is with the left brow done. What I'm asking you ladies is some critic on it as I've never actually done my brows before I don't want to look silly. Continue
