Recipes for glowing skin

Hi ladies! I just wanted to share my beauty recipe for glowing and healthy looking skin.  It is one thing to use amazing makeup, but another thing to keep a healthy lifestyle for a woman on the go. (This kinda sounds like an infomercial! HAHA!).  I do not always eat my greens as much as I should.  But greens such as spinach, collard greens, and kale, are SO nutritious for our bodies that I have seen it do wonders for my skin in a short period of time! So grab your blenders and start blending. 

bunch of collard greens

bunch of spinach

bunch of kale

1 seeded cucumber

1 sliced and seeded apple

1 cup of sliced watermelon

water to speed up the blending process

The combination works for me, but it does taste green!

Do you all have any recipes for veggie smoothies to share?? PLEASE share!! I always love new ideas and combinations!!

When ever I make green smoothies I add a little bit of hemp protein powder. Being vegetarian I like to sneek in complete amino acids when ever I can.

I don't have an exact recipe but when I make veggie smoothies, I add pineapple as well as an apple to the mix. I then chill it for a while in the freezer, just so that it's really cold (not frozen) and it ends up tasting like sherbet ice cream. I love it.

mine is similar but your a braver woman than I am. I dont eat Collard Greens!lol

Kale, spinach,cucumber, frozen berries, frozen pineapple and Chocolate protein powder.

The Pineapple cuts some of the strong flavor out, and is the only way to get my family member to drink a green shake. :)

I've tried the green smoothie in Kimberly Snyders Beauty Detox book. To be honest...I really dont like the tatse but Ive heard it really works so will power on and try it some more! Dita Von Teese swears buy it and follows it religiously.
