what's your favorite besame red and why?

I had a makeup disaster recently and I'm starting 100% from scratch -- and using the opportunity to try new stuff. An awesome friend gifted me some besame and I confess I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the reds; I rarely wear it and don't know where to start. I've got (in full or sampler size): Red Velvet; Besame Red; Cherry Red; Red Hot Red; Red Velvet; Merlot; and Carmine. ( I have a light, warm, slightly yellowish complexion. And I admit that most days I'll be wearing one of the more neutral shades I got -- Dusty Rose or Debutante Pink).

Which ones do you like? Where should I start?

I really like Besame red, myself.  It's a nice punchy colour and looks great on everyone I've seen try it, regardless of complexion.  The texture's great, and it's got serious staying power.  You're lucky to have a great friend to gift you such awesome product! ;)

Good tips, thanks! I expect these won't be day shades for me in any case. Sounds like Besame Red is a good starting point for me but I'm definitely going to try Red Velvet next -- that one looks great.

red hot red and merlot. i use them with Besame's red lip duo pencil.

Red Hot Red:because it's bright in your face red.

Merlot: it was my first Besame lipcolor purchase and i love to use it for darker looks.
