So, I already posted this on the main page but I thought I would post it here too just so that maybe some of you hair gurus would see it. :) Long story short, I have to cut about 4 inches off my hair due to a bad dip-dying experiment. While I'm not exactly happy about it, I am looking forward to being able to do more vintage hairstyles! My hair will need to be about shoulder length... How should I have the stylist cut it? I have no idea, but I will say that I have my hair layered around my face and I can't do victory rolls to save my life - I'm fairly certain it's because of the layers so am intending on growing them out.
If you get the "midi cut" (search vintage diagram on google), you'll find 3 (maybe 4? I can't remember) lengths that're available to you. Those diagrams are what were used way back when, so it's the best option, and it's really just a basic layered cut, so can still look okay on natural hair =)
