Good Morning! I'm on my first cup of coffee,2 cigarettes into my day. Its a lovely Sunday morning. I have shopping and sewing planned for the day.. My fiance blessed me with a mid century sewing box, and his mama's sewing scissors..For those that live retro everyday,do you find it hard to function in modern society? I have been trying to explain to my fiance that I make my reality, and while I can exist in modern society I am not of modern society... my 16 year old son even prefers the more vintage styles.. and life for that matter, he says coffee out of our percolator tastes better than regular coffee brewed in a drip machine...lol my thought for the day is this.. Be the change you wish to see in the world... I love re-enacting the good old days with a few exceptions...I leave out most of the bad stuff.. like hate.. and I try and be an example to the younger female generation, that you don't have to show all your goodies to be liked,or respected.. and good manners never go out of style..and its okay to want to run a home and be kind to your significant other and have career aspirations..I've been a housewife, I've also been a working mom.. I try to uplift other women when I can, because its the right thing to do and society can  be so cruel... well my coffee cup is empty I am off to pick my outfit of the day...Keep being beautiful ladies, we just might be the sunbeam in someone else's cloud!
