I have no idea how to sum up everything I do in a short bio for the site without sounding like wrote it myself, which always sounds slightly ridiculous, so I have decided to post a few words from other people instead!
BUT.. I am actually working on a book about my life. It will be a proper book, full of my experiences, everything from my childhood up to the present day.
So.. here are the words of some of the people I have worked with. :-)
One of the most loved and coveted names in the industry begins with Masuimi and ends with Max. This fun lovin’ pin up girl is a firecracker in every sense of the word, with a delightfully bubbly personality and enough spunk and wit to get herself into trouble, out, and back in it- exactly where she wants to be! As webmaster of Iamtrouble.com, she weaves tales through incredibly tantalizing imagery in just about any scenario you could think of. This is the reason that she is the muse of just about every retro photographer in the business, as her ability to communicate emotion and keep her poses fresh for each shot is a rare quality that she has concocted to perfection.
She has a unique point of view, as she is involved in several scenes and circles of influence. Her roots are in the fetish world, in which she has worldwide notoriety. Her first experience with latex occurred while she watched the movie Batman; her eyes widening as she took in the sight of Michelle Pfeiffer wearing a black latex catsuit. By the age of 18 she was performing and making her path to stardom! Her first pin up shoot was at that same tender age with fellow model Julie Strain who had a real knack for beauty on both sides of the camera. Infatuation became obsession, and Masuimi became entranced with the world of latex and corsetry. Currently, her favorite corsetry designers include Bibian Blue, Jupiter Moon3 Corsets, and Morgana Femme Couture. “What inspired me the most when I was younger was Marilyn Monroe.. later on I was introduced to the artwork of Olivia - and that pretty much steered me into the direction of Pinup and Fetish. Through Olivia art, I found out about Bettie Page (Bettie taught me you don't have to pose like Miss Universe to be a good model) - and I also spent my spare time reading Tank Girl comics! As you can see, a variety of great women (real and fictitious) throughout the years have inspired me.” Olivia has been painting the world’s most beautiful women for over 30 years, and has become as enthralled with Masuimi. “Masuimi Max is a performance artist and model who has inspired me to do some of my best work. Many of these paintings are in my book "American Geisha," and she will be in my upcoming book "Malibu Cheesecake." The way she contorts her body, making her look like a toy, is part of her unique style and energy.”
Since those days Masuimi has graced the cover of innumerable magazines, become an official spokesmodel for ultra successful pin up inspired garb store Pin Up Girl Clothing, and has even created her own cosmetics line in conjunction with PUG. How did she get to where she is today? “I don’t ever give up, regardless of what others say! The negative comments will never stop; especially when you become well known- the tabloids prove that. It doesn’t matter how beautiful, talented, or successful you are. Remember to focus on your goals and never procrastinate.” Take it from the girl who has rubbed elbows with the industry’s finest artists yet doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. “Always show up to your shoots and treat people with respect. If you’re a model, you have to remember that it doesn’t make your feelings more important than others’. We are all made of the same stuff, and we all deserve good things in our lives.”

Masuimi Max is a true Bizarre icon, and one of the best models we’ve ever worked with on the magazine. Every shoot we’ve done with Masuimi has been a red-hot classic, and she’s now one of the best-loved models with Bizarre readers – in fact, as Masuimi’s such an inspirational figure, there are thousands of models across the globe who owe their career to her. If it weren’t for Masuimi, the world of alternative modeling would be a much less vibrant and exciting place. And, to top it all off, she’s incredibly good fun to be around, funny as hell, and full of great stories. Masuimi, Bizarre salutes you!

Masuimi Max has single handedly set the standard for up and coming alternative models. Masuimi has the innate ability to morph her image from one dynamic look to the next. It's always an amazing experience when you shoot with Masuimi Max.... you never know what you'll get. But it will be amazing... guaranteed.

Masuimi Max is an inspirational performance artist who elevates any project she is involved in. Hands down she is today's top fetish model, yet her greatest strength is her diversity and ability to transcend beyond the fetish world.

I met Masuimi Max back in 2005 for a shoot, I had no idea what kind of model she was until all my girlfriends told me how jealous they were. Over the years we have shot a ton. She is every photographers dream model, as she understands her body, face and movements perfectly with a non-diva attitude. Just like hanging out with an awesome naked friend. I'm blessed to have so many great photos to share with everyone of Masuimi and hope to make 100's more in the future.

I've looked up to Masuimi since I was 17, I always loved her photos and her doll like looks. If you dont know who this girl is you are crazy. She is an original.
