Hello! I'm Elaina, nice to meet you! I'm an artist and graphic designer. Some of my favorite Pinup Girl products are mainly from the Deadly Dames and Laura Byrnes house brands.
Micheline's Deadly Dames designs are always great for a night out with the girls. I feel sexy and sort of like a bad-ass in her clothing. I'm not at all a bad-ass, but it's fun to get that effect with Deadly Dames. The cigarette pants are a go-to for anytime of the week. They're my favorite!
Laura Byrnes has done an incredible job designing an elegant dress. I'm sure everyone knows the Monica dress. Thank you for providing this dress in a wide range of colors. Also love the sophistication in these designs, I feel like a woman in Laura Byrnes.
Years ago Natasha Estrada shared a FB post asking for girls who were size XS-S to model for PUG and send their information. I really didn't think I had a chance and assumed she'd receive a ton of responses and mine would be lost amongst the rest. To my surprise, she responded rather quickly and we made arrangements for me to do a shoot at their headquarters. The day of the shoot was fun and new. All the staff was super nice and welcoming.
I had no idea that later down the road I'd become friends with these cool cats. Through the years it's been so much fun doing other shoots, attending the PUG events, spending time with the team at Viva Las Vegas, and making memories.
The coolest part for me were the times I had been asked to do graphic work for PUG projects. Modeling is fun and I love to do it, but design is my passion and that's where my strength is. I've had the pleasure of designing 2013 Viva Soda Pop, the artwork for PUG NYE event in Palm Springs at the Riviera, and some ad work. Some of the designs can be seen on my design site: www.sotomedesign.com
I've also had the privilege to design the logo for PUG's spokes-model Masuimi Max's cosmetic line, I Am Sin. Have you tried her cosmetics yet? You'll love it!
Ha ha! I haven't seen your post yet.. FB locks up my laptop, not sure if it's my internet connection in London or if it's FB.. most likely it's FB because PinupGirlStyle.com loaded fast! ;-)
Read the interview you did on Sand, good job! Sand had grown so much and her work and motivation is amazing. I interviewed her about 3 or 4 years ago as a budding artist and she had been accomplishing all her goals, super rad. =)
