I'm a geeky girlie girl, I love my sci-fi and I love love LOVE my shoes! I only have about 82 pairs so far but am always looking to adopt more every time I venture out into town, much to my bank managers dismay!
As for the geek side .... well what can I say .... my parents are completely to blame!! They dragged me up watching Star-Trek and it snowballed from there! Now you can't tear me away from Stargate, Farscape and the like!
Anyways... when I was growing up I always wanted to be a fashion designer, I've taken a few courses which have been ... interesting and I've worn a few of my creations out in public and no ones pointed and laughed yet! I've even got a few commissions that way so I must be doing something right!
However I recently decided to retrain as a croupier which is an amazing job that I love, although the hours are a little crazy and being able to do my 35 times tables in my head is not something my high school maths teacher would ever have believed possible of me! I get to wear a rather fab uniform too which is always a bonus.
Also I love Marmite toast but believe that it should only be eaten once it has been dipped in Heinz tomato ketchup......
