Hello. My name is Rima, and I am a scientist by trade. I also happen to be a PUG addict, as I own approximately seventy or so individual pieces, not including accessories. I live in a university town in northern California, which happens to be 356 miles away from the Pinup Girl Boutique in Burbank. That is the equivalent of about a tank and a half of gas and five and a half hours' worth of driving south on the hot, dusty, and incredibly dull Interstate 5.

I sing in a band. Its sort of a soul/blues/rock/punk type thing. I like to sing with a lot of power, and work it as much as possible on stage. Thing is, though, playing bars in the San Francisco bay area can be....well....sweaty! 

My question today for all you performers out there, or even just ladies who live in hot climate is: How the hell do you keep your hair from going flat, and make up from running down your face???

There was a long stretch of time since I had the privilege of owning a dress. 

A few years back I did have a decent collection of casual skirts that were the colour infusion in my closet full of black tops, cardigans and sweaters. The only accessory I would be found wearing were my brilliantly coloured hair flowers and that was me.

Sometimes, my bottom is so ......voluptuous, I'll bend over and have a seam tear straight up the back. Its rather annoying, but also kind of hot.
