Time is so very precious. Why does it fly by so quickly? Why do the great times in life go by even quicker? Oh well, stuff happens. And a few weeks ago I had a glorious holiday in New Orleans. This is the stuff that dreams are made of. A very long time ago my spouse and I decided that going on vacations are a very top priority for us in our lives. We have so many interests. And we have so many things that we love. A few months ago we decided that we had to go to New Orleans. Quite a few of…

I began as a fan. I would buy their dresses on line, like their pictures on Instagram, go to The Pinup Girl Boutique from time to time, but never thought that one day, I would model for them. It all started when I wore a PinUp Girl dress for my husband’s Marine Corps Ball last year. The dresses were always a perfect fit and are made by some of the best designers. I was so happy to find a store that sells clothing that is sexy, yet classy, and makes every woman look and feel their best.…

This is my very first blog post, so please bare with me okay! It was probably about 8 to 9 years ago when I first discovered Pinup Girl clothing, only I was a teenager who lived at home and had no money to buy anything. So I just looked and dreamed one day I could freely purchase whatever I wanted! Well I can say I can freely do so now. When I was that teenager dreaming of wearing those dresses I saw on my computer screen I had a lot of baggage. I had severe body image issues. My older…

I have recently began getting into the Pin Up style and I am loving it! However, I was wondering if anybody had any advice on the transition?
Thanks!

My Love affair with nail art
I love doing my nails. Seeing your art right on the tips of your fingers is amazing. They make me feel glamours. My love for nails stared when I was 3. My mother gave me a dollar for the ice cream truck. I climb on the side of the truck, to see the ice cream man. That's when I saw the press on nails. My mother helped me put them on. It made me felt glamorous!…

Hello my fellow PUGsters,
I have been a member of this site for a couple months now but until now I have been to afraid and embarrassed to write anything. I look around this site and see tons of beautiful and confident women and I instantly lose my nerves to write anything. I just feel that I am not good enough to be on this site, that nobody really cares about what I have to say, and that I am not pretty enough to be doing this style. Every time I say something like that my boyfriend…

It's so hard to fulfill any goals when there are major setbacks in life. For instance last year on April 18th I had a beautiful baby girl! My plan was to continue working after my 6 weeks were up, go back to school and try getting into modeling! Things didn't exactly work out the way I had planned. Simply it was because I had a c-section and for those who haven't experienced it thank your lucky stars! It's pretty painful. I mean walking is difficult, not being able to lift things and do any…

I am so thrilled to have found this site! A friend of mine showed me her red Monica dress that she purchased for a holiday party and said 'You have to go to PUG and get your dresses there. They're wonderful and have great customer service!' As a former retail manager I was hooked. I took a look and loved everything! I've always loved dresses, especially vintage looks so this was a match made in heaven.
I've recently lost 50 lbs, and am working towards another 8-10 lbs before reaching…

Ladies I need help! I've been debating over which dress to get and now it's just getting annoying! So please help?
I am going away to New Orleanssoon and am wanting 2 new dresses to take with me.
I like the PUG cherry print but have never seen it in real life, I know that some cherry prints are better than others can anyone recommend on personal experience?
I am unsure whether to go with the anna, heidi or natasha in this print?
I tend to stick with pencil dresses…

I decided to do my photo shoot in honor of Marilyn Manson's birthday(January 5). A holiday for the one I call MarieAlice really. She's my darker side, the gothic one. When I first moved to California she was out in full force. My wardrobe consisted of black and red. I was chalk white. I listened to My Chemical Romance and Sum 41. I was often referred to as Creepy Gothic Girl. …

I've always wanted to have a blog on pinup style and 1950s culture. So in light of the holiday season, and my many new purchases from pinupgirlclothing.com, I have decided to start a blog reviewing my purchases for other PUG's thinking of buying from them.
It's 12:36 pm, I haven't eaten lunch yet..probably because my Evelyn dress JUST arrived at my doorstep and the…

My Post War Up Do
It's only fitting that I chose to style my hair in a popular 1940's hairdo widely known as "victory rolls". The hairstyle got it's name post WWII and after my own hair battles, victory it is!!

I'll start off by apologizing again for being a bit of a non-presence these past few months. I have been busy with school and the holidays and work!
Now, let's get down to the PUGgy.
Halloween!
I didn't quite wear a PUG dress, but it was a repro dress. Green, to fit my costume.
What character could possibly wear a green dress you ask?
Marge Simpson.
That's right! I donned a blue beehive and yellow eyeshadow to bring to life this…

I started writing this blog about a week before Christmas. But I was just too busy to finish it. It is now Christmas night and the main part of my Christmas activities are over. Since one of the best things about Christmas is connecting with friends and family, I think that today is the day to post this.
Usually my blog posts are prompted because I have had some interesting adventures while wearing my PUG clothing. But not this time. This post is prompted by a comment that Tahitia…
