If you were to ask anyone who has known me for longer than 2 minutes they would tell you that I am not really a dress girl. I live in jeans, which isn't too unusual considering that this is the 21st century. As a California girl I have the luxury of wearing sandals, shorts and tank tops almost all year long. We really do have some fabulous weather. Now I have loved the pinup girl style since I was a teenager. However I always had trouble finding clothes that would fit me. As a plus sized woman typically this style of clothing is meant for a far smaller woman. So I would admire the clothes and dream about how one day I would be wearing them. Who would have thought that 20 years later (yes, I'm 34) I would finally be able to proudly rock my own pinup girl clothes.

I love wearing my capri jeggings with the many Marilyn style tops I own. They pair great with my coach sandals. I have even found the courage to buy three different style dresses, and wear them in public. It's quite an accomplishment for me.

My first dress purchase was the Vamp dress. As you can see my Vamp dress is body hugging and does flatter your figure. I pair this with some red lipstick, a red hair flower and my red heels.  So feeling confident I purchased dress number two, which was the Heidi dress is blue. I love this dress it's so comfortable. I can wear it with or without the petticoat and it looks fabulous both ways. Dress number three was the Netti dress with the Tiki figures on it. I feel like I'm in Disneyland going into the Enchanted Tiki Room, and like the Heidi dress you can wear it with or with out the petticoat.

Now I believe I'm addicted to dresses so I created a wish list on PUG and I have plans to buy the Erin, Ava, Evelyn, Birdie and Monica dresses.

I'm so happy that PUG makes beautiful pinup girl styles in my size. I'm super thankful that one of my friends told me about PUG and I have shared the wonderfulness of PUG with other women.

You look gorgeous in those dresses! Now you just need eyeliner and red lips and you're officially a pinup!!

Thanks! I wear eyeliner & lipstick when I'm going out. I had my sister take the pictures after I had gotten home from work. I just didn't reapply any makeup on my face. I'll definitely try & remember to do that before my next post.
