Bomb Girls - the TV show
Hi girls !
I recently discovered the TV show "Bomb Girls". I am sure some of you know that because it as been on the TV since 2013 BUT I didn't found any post on it so here I go !
It's the story of canadian womans working in a bomb manufactury starting 1941.
We follow them during their housewife life or love stories, everyday life, during their fights for more rights and we see a piece of what was life during the WWII.
I found the actors great, the story follows the History and the details are really refined.
So this is it, I hope you'll enjoy and discover something new made with old.

This REALLY was a beautiful show. They came to my home town all the time to shoot episodes over the two seasons and the TV movie, and even though I was never able to get on the show as an extra (booo) a lot of my friends were, and one of theme even got a play a burlesque dancer with a speaking part in season two :)
It really was a great show, it's too bad the viewership fell off and we never got a third season. There were so many more stories to tell about the girls's jobs, relationships, communities and the whole war effort. I remember how excited I was last year when another TV show set in the 1940's came to the area to film a pilot, it was never picked up though.
Who knows what the future holds though, maybe we'll get to revisit the Bomb Girls again one day ;)
