Today I went on an adventure with the boyfriend! I decided since I live in the Hollywood area I might as well take advantage of the fact that most of the famous houses of horror from my favorite movies are just down the street!
So I hit up my favorite three, first up the Doyle house from Halloween 1978 (where all the action happened) and the Wallace house which is just across the street. The Myers house is in Pasadena and now a chiropractic office. The house looked just like it did in the movies and the residents of the Wallace house were out front and had decorated it seemed that they really embraced the fact that they own a home that was part of movie history.
Next up was the Thompson house from A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984. Surprisingly this was was just four blocks or so from the Halloween house and was immediately recognizable with that infamous red door! Once again it seemed like the residents were not home but their neighbors seemed to have a good sense of humor because some of the graveyards they had decorated their front yard with had Freddy on them.
Last but not least I headed to the newest house of horror on the block the Murder House from American Horror Story.I have to say out of all the houses this house was the most captivating it omits just as much of a personified presence as it does on the show. I was practically begging to go in its towering and the stained glass windows were beautiful! Anyways I highly suggest if you’re a fan of horror do yourself a great big favor and check out all these houses!
XOXO

PS. Remember these maybe movie houses but they're also peoples homes. So remember to keep your distance and let them have their privacy I wouldn't recommend knocking on their doors or even going past their steps.
I would LOVE to see the American Horror house. It really just looked so amazing architecturally! Who doesn't love an old victorian? I'm originally from that area, maybe I can convince my mom to take me when I go visit, lol!! Thanks for so showing us!
