Today I woke up nice and early and decided to spend some quality time with my Mom hitting up the Montrose Invitational Car show! Of course I had to figure out what to wear to such and event so I picked the Deadly Dames Peach Vamp Top and a really cute skirt with a vintage car print pattern that matched it perfectly. For an extra touch I threw on my Eldorado Club "Pinup Girl" necklace and headed out.
I had no idea but apparently this show is in it 11th year. I've clearly been missing out! The cars ranged from late 1920's to the late 1960's, and from luxury cars to muscle cars. Out of the 200 beautiful cars there, there was definitely something for everyone (I even found a car that matched my peach vamp top).
I was really drawn to the hood ornaments on the classic cars you just don't see detail or sculptural designs on cars like this anymore its such a shame.
This was my favorite I loved the clear detailing on the back it really reminded me of something from the 20's Art Deco movement!
Cars weren't the only thing to draw people out, all the shops in the area where having their Semi Annual Sidewalk Sale. Which meant great discounts on everything including the yummy vintage clothing at Pattey's Closet!
The best part of this all was that the car show was free! So next time this year I seriously suggest you check out this show nice people, beautiful cars and great shopping! If you're hungry for more information on the next Montrose Invitational Car Show check out MSPA’s website at www.shopmontrose.com or call (818) 541-0699.
