Sitting pretty in Netti
After my introduction to Heidi by my husband and a long string of PUG Heidi dress purchases. My eye started to wander towards the fun and cheeky prints of the PUG Netti dress.
As I purchase all my dresses through the mail I swore I would never buy a dress other than the Heidi because I am not a fussy person. I have worked retail and would not want to bother a store and their staff trying to return and exchange dresses in order to find one that fits.
One day I just could no longer resist the temptation.
I went with the size I buy my Heidi’s 2XL as the Netti has the same circle skirt I knew I would be ok on the bottom it was my bosom I wondered about. My first Netti would be the Black Cowboy Print as it was most fitting that we have horses.
I waited on baited breath for the mail and the day she arrived I kept my fingers crossed as I drove home from the post box.
As this dress has straps I would not be able to wear my only piece of shape wear as the shape wear is a tank top style so I literally held my breath putting the dress on because I was on my own. No extra little bit of smoothing this zipper would have to pass my behemoth mounds and slowly the zipper went up.
It was nothing short of a GRAND celebration when the zipper met the top and the straps of the dress adjusted. I fell in love all over again. I audibly squealed in delight that not only do I have a different dress style to choose from this style fit me just as lovely and I was so happy.
The Netti is a bit more playful and the neck-line which gives the dress a completely different look than the plunging cleavage bearing Heidi. I also prefer the look of this style on me with a crinoline.
Swapping out belt styles and colours as well as sweaters, shrugs and crinolines makes for different looks of the dresses.
After purchasing the cowboy print I went on to buy the anchor print, the green and white polka dot and now I wait on the squirrel print, cat print and the tiki..!

You look so pretty in the Netti :) I especially love how you paired the Lime green/white polka dot Netti!! The black Cowboy print was also my first and now I own the Tiki and Squirrel print.. Would love to add the Lime green or blue/white polka dot one to my collection someday :)

Thank you Stephanie Warden and Michelle Boutilier..!! What do you both think of the Red Cowboy print..? I too would like the blue and white polka dot yet I was not sure if it was going to come back to the retailer I purchase my dresses from..

I think the Red Cowboy print would look lovely against your skin tone and dark hair, If you are thinking of getting that one and your retailer that you purchase your dresses from has it I say go for it!! :D XX I had such a hard time deciding between the black and the red when I purchased mine, but I have the red Cowboy print in the Lucy halter top and it,s a lovely shade of red.. You'll be pleased I think with it!!

I think I will look into it once I get the others in the list out of the way.. I am late in my dress purchasing this season. I am in Canada and I buy from Rowena's in Ed. I have to get my dress wearing fix in before it's too late for this year..lol

I'm from Canada as well! :D and absolutely LOVE Rowena!!! I buy a lot of my PUG attire and other brands from them!! I wear my dresses during the winter as well, I pair them with stockings , tights and wear shrugs and cardigans over them... I hate having to put on winter boots and jacket over them though to walk to work and am SO happy to get out of them once at work and put my heels back on! LOL

Oh yes I LOVE Rowena's too.. They are my main stay for all my Pin Up goodies <3 My husband is building a rod in Ed, so every 6 months or so we drive down the 7 hours and I try to get in for a look about yet make all my purchases through the mail..
As for winter dress wearing.. I live on a farm and going to town is my opportunity to dress up and I go about once every 2 weeks.. I have tried dressing on occasion yet I find it is just too chilly in and out of the SUV, errand to errand..
Although I did wear the Heidi in the winter with tights, I need a winter coat that would better accommodate a full skirt.. I posted one recently on my FB Page "Boss Mare Betty" it was an electric blue, looks like it is made of wool..
Eeek.. it has been cooling down here so I feel the snow coming..lol
