So often we see images of eloquent and powerful females in the office, yet many of us are not suit wearing girls. The answer is clear, we need more office wear.
Designer Laura Byrnes had this in mind when she drew up the Christina dress on one of her many sketch pads. Keeping the fabric, firm yet comfortable we choose a fan favorite and made the dress in Stretch Sateen, the same fabric used for the Vamp dress, and Birdie dresses.
The Christina Dress comes in 4 beautiful Fall colors; Purple Plum, Raven Black, Autumn Rust and Mermaid Teal. The Christina is not sold with the belt, however it will be available to purchase separately on the site.
This dress is so perfect for work, because it has a double kick pleat, for modesty and movement, along with back gussets for comfort and ease.

It wouldn't be a lack of confidence or just a talking to from a boss, in every place I've worked it would result in an hr meeting,it is a beautiful dress and is sexy, but I think each person knows what the corporate culture is like in her profession, if you can wear it without being unprofessional then great.
I love this dress, however working in the mining industry with a lot of male engineers and management there is no way that I would be able to wear such a dress to work :(
I'm a Doctor in general practice and will happily wear every one of these colours :-)
Ladies~
Gorgeous dress! But... I am on the side of everyone here who has said "not appropriate for the office"... It is not because I couldn't rock it... but let's consider the following:
1) While I ADORE the design... the fabric is all wrong. Sateen is not appropriate for the workplace, except as an accent, and in small doses... Unless you work in an industry where you can go straight to the night club from the office with just a dab of powder to your nose... I used to be that girl! There is nothing wrong with it! However...
2) Look at the these photos... the fabric is all crumpled except when it is stretched tight as a sausage skin across some body part... The beauty and integrity of the design is completely lost on the fact that the fabric doesn't lay flat, especially around the collar.... Frankly, it just looks cheap. Look at the zipper in back... see how it gapes... At this price, I want a better fabric.
2) Also... a criss-cross design is just NEVER appropriate in the office for a woman with a large bust. I am a professional female working in a corporate environment with 36D-sized breasts... and I can tell you that I avoid criss-cross blouses and wrap dresses like the plague. Not because I feel bad about mysef or I fear HR... (quite frankly they are lazy and too chicken to bother)... but because I don't want to have to be shielding myself by the crook of my arm from spilling out of my top in the sight of my happily married male coworkers every time I bend over to get a file out of the bottom drawer. It would just not be classy.
Loving our bodies is always good, but I think we, as women, must be especially cognizant of the fact that there is a time and place where this is ok... and there is a time and place when you're just not going to be taken seriously as a professional anymore if you choose to make this statement. Beware...
@ Brandi... I think you raise important points and perfectly relevant topics for discussion.,, thanks for your contribution!
Cheers to all!
This dress is very nice but I would fear i would draw attention to myself for the wrong reason....far too sexy for me to wear to work but I love it. keep up the fab clothes!
This dress is really amazing !
Love the Purple plum and Mermaid Teal
Rayleen dear if anyone is trolling here it is you.
I think this dress appropriate for work (maybe not all jobs) but it would take a bold dresser to wear it. It dances in the line of to sexy. I'd wear it (if I had a job and was not in college lol). I do how ever think PUG's new Kinky skirts are better for work than this dress. This dress would be a wonderful work to party piece.
