The Splendid Blue Rose.
I'm one happy camper!! Today I received my Pinup Couture Blue Floral Pencil Skirt :D
There was no if's and's or but's !! I HAD to have this skirt when I saw it in the New Items section of Pinup Girl Clothing's web site!! I love the bold print of the roses, the mixture of Blues with a hint of Violet and the pop of Turquoise and Teal foliage against the off white base of this skirt.
I own the Pinup Couture skirt in 3 other prints since no Vintage Inspire wardrobe is complete without a variation of pencil skirts. You may have guessed by now that I have a soft spot for this classic item.

I found the Black went fine with this skirt since some of the Blue in the roses was such a dark Navy it looked close to being Black :) * My apologies for the skirt being a little wrinkled since I couldn't wait to try it on!
Made from a Cotton/Spandex blend it is very comfortable. It features a high waist with a 2'' yoke that cinches me in the waist which I like very much and a back slit for easy movement. For sizing reference my measurements are 36''(37)-27.5''(28)-36'' and i wear this skirt in a small. It has minimal stretch and I find the skirt to be pretty accurate to the sizing chart since it just fits me in the waist ( I was at the very end of the sizing chart in the waist for this skirt ) and can easily stretch another inch and a half from the hip area.. This skirt makes me feel like i've got killer curves, hence why I own four!! ;D
If you haven't added this skirt in the Blue Floral yet I suggest you do before they are SOLD OUT!!
You will not be disappointed with this beautiful print and how the body hugging structure of this skirt will make you feel....

I'm gonna try my new Lavender vamp top with this skirt as well, since there is a hint of it in the skirt... We'll see how it looks!! You know me, I like being adventurous with my color combos ;)

When I saw the Doris in this print, I immediately asked PUG for it in a pencil skirt. So when I saw it in the "New Items" on the lovely Doris Mayday, I had to have it (and I got the yellow rose while I was at it, lol.).
And where did you get that blue rose in your hair? It's perfect!

I buy most of my hair flowers by him , he makes the most beautiful hair flower accessories!! and Jessica, You MUST get this skirt!! This print will look absolutely stunning on you with your long luscious dark hair and skin tone!! :D
