Hi everyone!!

My husband and I attended our first Viva this year but we only bought tickets to the car show on Saturday.  We are definitely planning on attending all four days next year if budget/schedule allows.  We were greeted by these adorable alligators upon entering the Orleans, haha!  

It was really cool to see so many people from so many places!  Everyone was super friendly and in a good mood for the most part.  It was really cool to hear people speaking in different languages but smiling at each other or complimenting each others' outfits.  

I definitely have to improve in the make-up and hair department because some of the ladies in attendance were freak'n breathtaking.  People complimented my top which I thought was nice.  

It's a good idea to take a larger bag with a pair of flats for later in the day and water, extra sunblock, wallet, advil, etc. to avoid trecking all the way back to your car for advil or to switch shoes or whatever.  

Vicky Tafoya and The Big Beat was really cool to see, check them out on youtube or something, they were awesome.  I loved checking out all of the cars and taking a parasol was a LIFESAVER!!  The weather was warm (low 80's?) and there was a nice breeze but it got a little too toasty for a bit and I would have roasted without the parasol because the parking lot where the event is held is huge and there's no shade anywhere.

There were lots of vendors with plenty of repro clothing and accessories for men and women, auto parts and accessories, photo ops with various models, and of course the lovely PUG booth was easy to spot because they were close to the entrance.  I didn't get to participate in the group photo because we arrived a little after 2pm.  If anyone was there for the photo at 2pm I'd like to see it!  

I took this last picture as we were driving away for the night.  Oh and I got to meet the owner of Lux de Ville while playing roulette at another casino later that evening which was cool!  Look forward to the next one, and if you can't afford to go for all four days then just going to the car show is still a lot of fun!
