When you’re being photographed for a book, it’s Lauren all the way. :)
I’m new here, and this is my first blog, so hi! :) I’ve loved reading everyone’s blog posts, looking at your stunning pictures and getting ideas for how best to pair together PUG’s amazing pieces. :)
I’m a big fan of both PUG and Stop Staring and have been adding to my closet from both for some time. My new most favorite favorite favorite dress of all is the Lauren. Sigh. Oh my how I LOVE that dress. It’s straight up DANGEROUS, ladies, in all the good ways. :)
I live in California and go to Atlanta a few times a year for business, most recently at the end of February. I knew going into it that I was going to be interviewed and photographed for an upcoming coffee table book about curly hair, and I was SO excited, of course. (The company I started and own makes products for people with curly hair.)
I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to wear, so in typical fashion, I brought ALL THE DRESSES :) All of them. :) But when the day of the shoot came, there was absolutely no question it was Lauren, all the way. I knew I wanted something that would go well with my red hair, and, I mean, books last forever. :) It had to look amazing. And Lauren is amazing.
I haven’t seen the “real” pictures from the shoot yet, but here’s one of me and the photographer/author that was taken on my iPhone that day.
I got the dress in large since I have broad shoulders and you KNOW I was wearing some heavy duty shape wear under that baby! :) (Rago somethin’-somethin’. I forget the code number, but whatever it was, it works WELL! :) )
Thank you PUG, for making this dress!!! It’s insane. In all the good ways. :)

Thank you Brandi. That dress would look magical on anyone because IT is magical, I'm telling you. Pure. Magic. :) I was so STOKED when they released it as a top! :) I just got the green and am going to get the red next. The material is amazing. Ok, I'll stop gushing about it. :) Thank you also for the hair compliment. :) After hating my curly hair forEVER, I'm so thankful to finally love it. :) Took a really long time though. :)

OMG! You look totally AMAZING in that dress. And I absolutely adore your hair. One of the things that is great about the pin up movement is that it celebrates femininity in all its forms. And when people embrace how they look, and they polish the look just a bit... they look amazing... as do YOU!

Thank you so much Aoife 24K. :) As you can tell, I don't really care much about makeup. :) I actually don't even own any lipstick, and really only wear makeup when I absolutely HAVE to. And since my long curly red hair is my brand, that's pretty much the only way I ever wear it. No variety there. So it's all about the clothes for me. :) Dresses, dresses, and more dresses. :) I've only just recently gotten into buying more separates and it's super fun! I don't know what took me so long to jump on THAT bandwagon. :) I'm so glad that I found this site. It's such a fun and natural extension of the PUG clothing site. :) Everybody - every single person - looks so amazing in the pictures they post of themselves, because they feel confident. :) I LOVE it. :)

Jessica I couldn't agree more with everything you've said about the Lauren, it's definitely one of my favourite PUG designs ever and it's on my wish list for Christmas. I hope we'll see the picture from the photoshoot when it's ready Jessica!
