Hi ladies - I have naturally light (and sparse) brows (my natural hair color is dishwater blonde). I color my hair dark brown and thus fill my brows in to match. I'm contemplating going red for winter. Not Joan Holloway red, perhaps a bit more Auburn - I haven't decided yet. My question is this - what do you recommend for brows? Leave them dark? Color them in? What color pencil/powder would you recommend? I went red once before but it was fairly dark auburn so I just left my brows dark. Thank you in advance for your advice!!

My hair is a little more vibrant red than auburn and I use medium brown for my eyebrows. It looks fine. I don't think red eyebrows always look natural, so just go with a little bit of a darker brow.
I have auburn hair and use Maybelline Define-a-Brow in dark blonde and top with Lorac Take a Brow powder in Auburn. Has enough red but not enough to make it look super fake.
I did makeup on a red head recently and I matched her brows to her hair. I used a BH Cosmetics palette mixed a reddish medium brown shadow and a dark brown to get a natural look.
Raquel, could you link to the products you used? I'm always on the hunt for perfect brows.
Sure, I used the 88 cool palette from BH Cosmetics, and its like a reddish brown, I also used Espresso and Handwritten from MAC.

So the first picture is natural brows. The second is with the left brow done. What I'm asking you ladies is some critic on it as I've never actually done my brows before I don't want to look silly. Continue
