Hi everyone!  I'm wondering if anyone has a good source (online would be best) for wigs?  I recently changed my style to a pixie cut, and while I don't regret it one bit I would like to have longer hair for special occasions or just for fun.  :)

So any sources, tips, or tricks out there?  I have no experience with wigs so any info/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I have a  few pin up wigs. I bought all of them on eBay. They have usually been in the $25 to $50 range. And I am just about to order the Jon Renau Pin Up wig which costs about $40. The quality of these wigs is usually OK. I have purchased one which looks like a cheap, frizzy Halloween wig. But most of them are great for new and different looks

Tabitha I love the bang-bang wig. I would order it except I just placed an order yesterday for the following two wigs:

I recently got into them! I wanted some of those "no turning back" colors without getting rid of my blond. A surprise hit but I love http://arda-wigs.com/, specifically this one...http://arda-wigs.com/collections/eowyn Their wigs are heat stylable and the fibers are really nice, not to shiny, not too dull. I've bought two of the Eowyn wigs, and styled them into some pretty cute styles. I love this one because it has a skin top that looks really natural and means you can move the part wherever you want. (fooled a close friend of mine into thinking it was my real hair)

I cut the bangs in front more Bettie style and curled the ends and bangs with hot rollers, did a similar one with bobbed under tips in black/purple. The secret with heat styling them is that the fiber has to be cold to hold the shape. I had some luck with a curling iron, but had to hold the curl how i wanted it while it cooled or it dropped right out. Hot rollers were perfect. Mine have held the style perfect and always go right back how I styled them when I smooth them out of their bag to use them.

I'm tempted to try one of their lace front wigs to see how those work out at some point. I did a little blog post on my wig must haves which has some close up photos of this one and it on if you were interested here... Quaintrelle Life  (not affiliated with arda in any way, just really love my wigs!!!)

I wear a wig every single day.... www.hairstopandshop.com

If a wig is under $100 msrp, i garauntee it wont look natural... :-(

After looking at this post again. I have figured out two things.

1. When someone is trying to sell something and the english is totally fractured, it is usually some rip off offer from some cheapo manufacturer somewhere in Asia.

2. A couple of authentic rave reviews of some site is usually a pretty trustworthy recommendation. o I think that I am going to order something from Arda.
