This is the dilemma I face every year!
I love winter, and when it comes around, I love pulling out my cardigans, deep coloured skirts, scarves, woollen tights (UK term for pantihose), and my proudest winter possession; my black vintage fur coat, with the biggest snuggest hood in the world! Yet every winter, shoes are something I dread!
Winter here tends to be all types of brrrr! wet some days, just cold, some freezing, some snow here and there, and I have to find a great style of shoe or boot that I love, that is still totally practical and comfy for everyday wear in such conditions!
So I would like to hear your lovely ladies ideas and thoughts to this! and even see pictures of your favourite brrr boots! And hopefully help other ladies who are dealing with the same problem!
xoxo Zoë.

I 2nd that Brandi - although the heel is perfect for me (I walk 3 miles roundtrip to work & home). I also have a pair of leather boots (man-made) that are riding-style and flat. These seem to work really well instead of wellies for the rain, but if it's really raining, I use my wellies and just change my shoes at work (or where ever). This year, I plan on buying some leopard print wellies to match my umbrella.
i just did a search and they do some super cute ones!
Plus one for Miss L Fire. They are an investment, I've had my beauties for 2 years now. The craftsmanship and design are excellent, they are built to last!
I do a lot of walking, and prefer to wear tights and low heels (keep you out of puddles!) or ankle boots with my vintage/repro during the winter months. I live in the west of Ireland: Rain-central :P
During the cold snap last year, the roads were so icy that I had to forego heels entirely and resort to my Doc Martens again, hehe. Brought me back to my teenage years! I have these http://cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/ba/8/AAAAAkrspG0AAAAAALqDkA.jp... (can be worn with folded down, with the lining showing or as is) and would recommend. Snug on the inside, rubber sole, dead comfortable.
I will never shake punk rock.
I own more doc martens then dresses.
Docs come out of storage as soon as it gets cold out!
I agree, doc martens are one of my loves that will never die. I bought a new just black pair last year but they still need breaking in, plus i don't think they go too well with my coat :(
I've had my eyes on these for a little while now. I think they're adorable for winter wear http://www.ebay.com/itm/Miss-L-Fire-Havana-Black-Womens-Mid-Heel-Bo...
they are all kinds of adorable!!!!
I love Fluevogs :)
Wow - those are awesome shoes: http://www.ebay.com/itm/John-Fluevog-Mini-Honey-Pumps-Heel-Bows-Won...
