The redesigned Violet Dress in Red by Pinup Couture

The Violet, by no means subtle, demands prompt attention as seen here in this crowded ballroom.  This has long been one of my favorite bodies and I was excited to hear that Laura was redesigning and improving on it.  

The Violet dress combines the amazing fit properties of Bengaline with the pleasing sheen of its luxuriant velvet collar and sleeve panel.  A dramatic keyhole bust designed around causing multi-car pileups and Tex Avery style slack-jaws and exaggerated pupil dilation (I imagine).

The Lauren Dress by Pinup Couture in Baby Blue 

The Lauren dress is a new cut for us this season, it combines the beautiful tailored aesthetic of many of the Laura Byrnes tops with the sultry silhouette of our ever popular wiggle dresses.  

Laura displays a masterful yet subtle deliberateness in her placement of the seaming here.  From the top of the bust the seams draw the eye from the outer edge in towards the smallest part of the waist then travels elegantly along the contours of the feminine form helping to create and accentuate an hourglass figure.

The Giiiiaa  -- The Gia Dress in Black by Laura Byrnes

The Gia dress, another elegant show stopper from our Laura Byrnes collection is gorgeous in its own right but I heard Gia has a secret -- but luckily Vanessa lets the cat out of the bag in her caption:

"A built-in stretch Bengaline shaper for the bust, waist, and lower hip gives support, structure, and holds you in, while the gathered outer fabric disguises the internal structure and gives you a sleek and clean silhouette."

Our Erika Dress by Pinup Couture now in our New Exclusive Rose Print

The Erika is a super cute body made all the sweeter by the matching velvet bow / bolero combo.  The bolero is reversible too which makes for a really versatile garment, we have seen a fair number of girls accessorizing other dresses with their Erika boleros.  This is probably by a wide margin my favorite new fabric print, the elegance of a muted contrast really speaks to me.

The Milena Grosgrain bag by Laura Byrnes

Our Milena Grosgrain Evening purse features a large mirror on the interior as well as a sizable ID/credit card pocket perfect for securing your cash and smaller items.  The firm magnetic closure keeps your purse secured -- simply shut the panel and it "snaps" closed, I was particularly impressed with this aspect.

Bullseye! This Cocktail Dish Fascinator is right on target!

This gorgeous fascinator features an attached large comb as well as hair band for ease of wear.  These blew out very quickly but I imagine we will see more of this in the next couple of months so be sure to add yourself to the waitlist if this moves you as much as it does me!
